24th December, final day of our Calvendo Advent calendar 2015. All that’s left to say now is: Have a very merry and wonderful Christmas everyone and enjoy it with family & friends! To put you in a peaceful and suitably snowy mood, our last door reveals one of Nadia Attura’s gorgeous pictures from her Nature in Art calendar. Reminding you with this delightful pop art painting from our self-publisher JJ Galloway, a US artist who focuses on depicting the ‘beauty of the commonplace‘. Her Pop Culture calendar is full of nostalgic and sentimental icons of urban life that have been given a pop art twist.

Gentle giants

Opening door number 18 of our Advent calendar and looking at these gentle giants makes us calm down in this hectic time of year. Artist and writer Peter Williams creates much loved photo-realistic wildlife pencil drawings and we’re glad that he’s working with Calvendo to produce calendars such as his Might Fine Art Drawn Wild one.
